This half overlay soft close cabinet hinge is a great upgrade or replacement. The soft close feature keeps your cabinet doors from making a noise when closing shut. So no more slammed cabinet doors. This hinge is specifically designed for frameless cabinets.

Half overlay: This overlay type is typically seen in the middle of a cabinet run where the cabinet doors share a single cabinet wall. The doors to the cabinets would meet in the middle of the cabinet wall thus covering, or overlaying, half of the cabinet wall partition. The hinge itself installs on the interior side of the cabinet wall and the interior side of the door. A half overlay is NOT the same as a 1/2 inch overlay.
